GeoHorizon 62 by Lisa Carney

::: Title: GeoHorizon 62
::: Size: 8 x 8 x 0.8" (20 x 20 x 2 cm)
::: Year: 2012
::: Medium: Acrylic & Paper
::: Support: Canvas

This small format artwork has layers upon layers of acrylic paint over a collage of found papers on stretched canvas. Warm browns, beige and turquoise hints give the art depth.

It is part of a series called "GeoHorizon", a series of minimalist landscape paintings that focus on imaginary slices of earth.

I have signed it on the front, then signed, titled and dated the artwork on the back. I have painted the sides black. This painting arrives wired and ready to hang.

I use professional grade acrylics with high quality color pigments that have very good to excellent resistance to fading. All of my paintings are finished with two coats of satin varnish to enhances the intensity, transparency and luminosity of colors and to protect the artwork from UV rays and dust.

Small paintings are the perfect collection starter. Imagine curating your own art collection as a means of personal expression to reflect your individual personality.
