Fool's Fool

Today's abstract is my entry for this months Artist Challenge at: http://www.theartistchallenge.com/

The theme for this month is "The Fool"

For this theme I made a colorful diptych on paper. Each painting measures 5x7 inches for a total of 10x7 inches if hung side by side.

These two foolish mixed media paintings can be framed seperately or together in one frame. A light creme or white mat would complement the artwork beautifully as well as a chocolate brown frame.

New Monotype Series

NEW ACRYLIC MONOTYPE SERIES.

While painting papers for my collage art I decided to have more fun by making some monotype prints.
A monotype is a print made by pressing a piece of paper against a painted or inked surface. The plate used for a monoprint only exists once, in my case it is paper that I will later use in my collages, so each monoprint is unique. These fun and colorful works of art look amazing in mimimalistic decors. Use them to give a punch of color in any room, even your office! Group them together for high visual impact.
